About Us.

Hello, I’m Julie, Founder of JPC Care and Support, and proud mum to my incredible son, James. He’s the reason this journey began. When professionals once said he wouldn’t achieve many of the things he does today, I was determined to help him live the most independent and fulfilling life possible. That determination soon grew into a vision to support other young adults and their families in the same way.

At JPC Care and Support, our day centre is so much more than just a place to spend the day. We take a truly person-centred approach, working closely with each individual and their family or carers to understand what matters most to them. Together, we follow care plans with the full involvement of families and carers, ensuring support is personal, empowering, and focused on real goals.

Our fully trained team provide both personal care and specialist support. Every member of staff is trained in medication and personal care, and for those who need it, we can also support with daily physiotherapy as part of their routine. In addition, we are proud to offer hydrotherapy sessions off-site, giving individuals the therapeutic benefits of water-based support.

From cooking and baking to arts, crafts, and developing social and life skills, we provide opportunities that build confidence and independence. Beyond our centre, we encourage exploration in the community — whether it’s shopping and handling money, enjoying a meal out, visiting the theatre or museum, or simply taking a walk in the park.

Every day is about creating meaningful experiences, celebrating achievements, and encouraging each person to live life to the fullest.

At JPC Care and Support, we are not just a day centre — we are a supportive, empowering community where individuals can grow, connect, and thrive.
